On Tuesday we received 2 visitors from Kookmin University, Korea. As the purpose of their visit was actually to come and see ME! Bangga gila! hahahaha As I was not in charge of International Visitors, I have to pass the information to MarComm. During the arrangement for the visit, MarComm Officer asked them what's their purpose of visit and any specific person they would like to meet or what not. And they actually mentioned, we just want to do a none formal visit to UPM and meet up with Mrs. Maisarah Roslan as she's been very helpful with us throughout these years.
Apabila orang MarComm tersebut called me up and said that, bertambah lagi bangga nya hahahaha terus diorang pun taktau nak arrange macam mana. At the end, they end up making a small none formal meeting with representative from Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Economics and Management (as their 2 students are based there this semester) and from Mobility Unit (which is me and my boss).
When I arrived at the meeting room, the 2 students pointed at me and told their officers, "That's Maisarah, the person we've been dealing with all these while". Then she gave me a smileeeeeeeeeeeee hehe tercapai juga hasrat beliau to meet me in person hahahaha
After the so called none formal discussion, its time for refreshment. Time makan, mereka terus menuju kearah the famous Maisarah ni kan hahahaha borak2 (mcm kawan lama tak jumpa lol) tanya itu ini, tibe2 beliau hulur hadiah secara tersorok dibelakang kerusi. Rupanya dia bawak n bagi hadiah just for me je in that meeting :D Deputy Dean pun tak dapat tau kahkahkah (belagak sekejap)...
We started our conversation about something (tak ingat dah, sorry mmg sangat teruk memory lost lately ni) and I told her that my mom is in Korea now. She's teaching at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She then suddenly got excited and she my colleague (the other officer) graduated from there. And she called up her colleague and spoke in Korean. I'm sure she was saying that her mom is teaching at HUFS blablabla cause I heard she said.."Maisarah eommanim..blablabla" pastu of cos I got lost sebab paham eommanim je hahahahaha pastu tak pasal2 dua2 amik berkat pegang perut saya yang buncit ni..bak kata mereka, amik berkat katanya hahaha sbb they both got married the same time as I did (earlier this year) and still waiting for a baby...excited sangat abis sampai ke petang duk pegang2 perut saya amik berkat tak sudah hahahaha
Then we took them to visit the students dormitory at K2. They were very friendly and nice. They kept saying maybe you can come to Korea sometimes while your Mom is there and visit KMU at the same time. I just have to say "will do, maybe sometimes in the future"..nak jawab Inshallah, sure2 dia tak faham kan hehehe tapi dalam hati jawab, you would think we (kuli2) will be given the opportunity to go abroad just a visit to some partners universities huh?? Itu hanyalah berhak dibuat oleh the 'big one' sahaja! Diorang je pulun sume...pastu dah sampai sana, tak tau full info. Sebab yang tau full info nya always kuli2 ni je kan. Kami kan menurut perintah dan mengikut arahan! Boooooooooooooo!
Anyway, hadiah yang beliau bagi haritu ingat kan something normal. Rupanya a Marble Jewellery Box. Gila cun! Takut nak guna so simpan balik dalam kotak lepas tengok and amik gamba hahaha and I thought they might have gotten the box elsewhere utk bagi hadiah semata2. Rupanya memang university diorang akan bagi such hadiah to visitors. Ada cop KMU lagi hokeh kat box tu. Kaya gila! Kalau tau leh mintak Korean Silk ke kan. Leh nak buat baju lepas bersalin nnt heeee
